The Redstone Art Center's Summer Season kicks off the 4th of July
weekend with our annual show featuring Richard Fitzgerald's new works
in wood. Recognized as one of the finest wood turners in the country, Fitzgerald'
was a featured artist in the Annual Governor’s Art Show in
April 2008. |

Marble/marble XX, a marble carving symposium.
The Stone Carvers’ Exhibition
runs through September and benefits the Marble Institute of Colorado. |

TAMARA SIMMONS
NEW OIL PAINTINGS
OPENS SATURDAY AUGUST 2ND
ARTIST'S DEMONSTRATION 1-3PM
Since moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in the 1990’s Tamara has
studied with a number of respected artists. Throughout her years of study
she has developed a classical, old-world style that is now
present in her paintings. Tamara derives her inspiration from the
beauty that surrounds us, be it a realistic still-life arrangement or the
grandeur of our landscape. Tamara is a member of Oil Painters of America. She was selected to participate in the Annual Colorado Governor’s Invitational
Art Show 2006-2008. |
CAROL BOWKER
ARTIST’S RECEPTION AND EXHIBIT FRIDAY AUGUST 15 5-7PM
Carol is one of Delta County’s best known and widely
collected artists. Living near the West Elk Mountains, she is
surrounded by the natural beauty of Colorado’s Western Slope.
Her landscapes portray the high mountain ranch country with
fields of hay bales, horses and buffalo. Carol works primarily in
fluid acrylics and oils. Exhibiting regionally and nationally, her
paintings have won numerous awards. She will conduct a 3 day
workshop in oil for the Redstone Art Foundation August 13-15.
