Formerly from Colorado, David now works in the Ozarks of Missouri doing wood firing with the local hardwoods.

He continues experimenting with salt and wood and its effects as well as working in raku.

Exploiting the flexibility of his material he sculpts the clay into intriguing forms applying unique textures and incredible glazes. Always interested in teaching, David has recently opened the new Raven Center for the Arts, dedicated to enriching lives through teaching seminars in the fine applied arts.

Three to ten day seminars in all facets of pottery making are being offered, with more to be added in painting, drawing, glass blowing, and photography.
