| Kim
has taught drawing, painting and photography in the Boulder,
Colorado Public Schools since 1978. She has painted and exhibited
in Colorado and New Mexico, and is influenced by the light
and culture of the southwest.
Horses
and cowboy boots occur frequently in her paintings, symbolizing
the rugged individualism and spirit of the West. The boots
decorative qualities and rough texture contrast with other
elements in her paintings-flesh, metal, fabric and wood. Her
work has been exhibited in invitational, juried, and one-person
shows, and is included in a number of private collections.
