Kimberlee is a dedicated horse owner and rider.  Each painting is based upon hours of interaction and observation of horses. Intuitive knowledge and love of horses is an obvious and joyful part of each painting.

Experimenting with unusual color choices, light, shadow
and texture, Kim Ryan chooses to "push" her representational images to the edge with cropped compositions and strong angles.
