Dale Russell Smith relocated to Cedaredge, Colorado from Denver a few
years
ago to pursue his career as a full time artist. Transparent watercolor is
his primary medium, rendering the landscape with detailed textures and a
strong colorful palette. His efforts capture the essence and the light of
his subject. Smith has won numerous awards and recently was selected as a
"Top 200" artist in the National Arts for the Parks competition and received
1st place in Watercolor West,National Juried Exhibition, in LA.
